Lurline
A fusion of softly gothic femininity and avant-garde maximalism, Saudi Arabian-based Lurline designs clothes that evoke the escapism of film, art and literature. Sisters Sarah and Siham Albinali founded the label in 2018, citing a desire to ‘blur the lines between couture and ready-to-wear’ and taking their name from a whimsical folk tale about a beautiful siren that lived in the Rhine river. Championing handmade craftsmanship, collections focus on intricately made fabrics such as the brand’s signature draped chainmail, which is hand-linked and stitched by expert artisans. Expect textural fabrications, high-octane details and strong silhouettes in the brand’s bold colour palette.
